Jules Mitchell leads advanced continuing education programs in biomechanics for intellectually fearless yoga teachers. She helps them integrate principles of exercise science and applications of pain science into their classes. Jules is the author of Yoga Biomechanics: Stretching Redefined, a unique, evidence-based exploration into the complexities of tissue mechanics and the human body’s resilience and adaptability.

A journal or something to take notes with and your yoga mat. This course will be mostly lecture and workshop style – no full-length yoga class will be offered.

There are no prerequisites. This course is open to yoga teachers, fitness professionals, and committed students who want to learn how to think about biomechanics and yoga.
Will I get a copy of the slides?
Yes, the slides are available as a downloadable PDF. A link will be sent following the course.
How many CEUs will I get for taking this course?
You will earn 12 CEUs upon completion. A link to request your certificate will be emailed after the course.
What if I have to miss part of it?
You’ll get the most out of the course by attending the entire weekend. We understand life happens, so if you have to arrive late or leave early, you should still be okay.
What is your refund policy?
Course registration is non-refundable after August 1, 2025. Refunds before August 1, 2025, will incur a $75 processing fee. You may arrange to transfer your registration to another person up to 14 days prior to the start date.
